Mini Makers is a children's activity club provision, running primarily through the school holidays. We promote learning and social development through play and activities.
Mini Makers sessions take place at the newly refurbished Kirkgate Centre in Shipley, West Yorkshire, BD18 3EH.
Mini Makers is for all children aged between 3-5 years of age.
No - you can drop your child off and return to collect them at the end of the session. If you prefer you can stay to settle your child into the session or you can stay for the duration if you feel more comfortable doing so.
Each session will be no longer than 4 hours - please check the classes section of the website for the current full listing and available times.
Children may bring snacks with them and we will have a dedicated break time for any snacks brought to be consumed. Please do not bring any items that contain nuts or sesame due to allergies. Drinks will be provided but your child may bring their own. There will be a small selection of snacks available for those who are unable to bring their own. Rebecca is a fully qualified paediatric first aider and will be present at all snack times.
Mini Maker sessions are run by Amy Hall and Rebecca Morrison. Both Amy and Rebecca are fully enhanced DBS checked and Rebecca is a fully qualified paediatric first aider. Rebecca holds a childcare and development qualification and works as a learning support assistant at a Bradford primary school. Amy has a Psychology degree and works as a community artist and workshop leader.
In case of cancellation we ask that 10 days notice is given to either Amy or Rebecca. This is because numbers may affect if the session can go ahead or not and the venue also requires a cancellation notice. If the cancellation notice is less than the required days we will happily swap your session to an available alternative.
